We believe, that as spiritual beings having a physical experience on this Earth, we are intimately connected with all of humanity and with all of nature around us. We believe that it is important to honor that connection and to help preserve it. Our aim is to restore this human/earth connection to those who may have lost it – to our urban communities, to rural sprawl, and to our “bigger is better” economy.
Our desire is to bring people together from diverse nations and professions to create a shared vision and reality of global life, eliminating the “us versus them” mindset that is so prevalent today. This unified vision and reality includes all creatures and all elements: air, water, earth, fire, and spirit, that help sustain Life. Our objectives are to assist in creating peace, harmony and understanding. Through our company, Tourism For Peace LLC, we achieve these objectives in the specialized areas of Peace Master Plans, Peace Education, Peace Eco-tours, Peace Trails and Labyrinths, Peace & Wellness Coaching, Animal Communication, and Ecotourism Planning & Community Development.

Gail Y. Lash, Ph.D.
Founder, Chief Creator Visionary, and Peace Explorer
Dr. Lash is a writer, traveler, teacher and connector with the mission of Peace. Since 1991, she has worked with rural communities, assessing social and economic development issues related to community-based ecotourism in and around parks and protected areas. Her work in Ecuador, Belize, Indonesia and the United States has covered such topics as local perceptions of benefits from protected areas and/or endangered species, landowner rights, women’s craft groups, guide training, conservation education, and building equitable partnerships.
In 1999, Dr. Lash chose to balance her scientific knowledge of biological systems, environmental policy, and natural resource economics with study of subtle energetic body systems (emotional, mental, spiritual), metaphysics, and the alchemy of peace. She embraced her intuitive skills and awareness that we are all connected through energy. Dr. Lash has assisted thousands of clients as Peace Coach and Energy Healer/Reader, and taught various energy classes for 16 years. To promote this unity of science and spirit, and knowledge of oneness and peace, Dr. Lash founded Tourism For Peace in 2003 and its Peace Brain education in 2009.
Gail and her husband, Nevin Lash, design zoos and nature parks worldwide, promoting these zoological parks (as well as schools, businesses, community organizations) as official “Peace Parks”, where peace dialogue, actions and programs are experienced.
